The Buffalo Maritime Center is pleased to announce the third annual Fair Winds Gala: An Evening on the River. The event will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Buffalo RiverWorks overlooking the Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief, which will be docked at RiverWorks throughout the evening. The program will take place inside the restaurant and aboard the Seneca Chief!

This year, we will honor Roger Allen, BMC’s Master Boatbuilder, for his over 50 years of leadership in the boatbuilding community. Roger has played a pivotal role in our organization’s growth, sharing his extensive knowledge, infectious passion, and inspiring vision. Through his dedication, he has helped preserve maritime culture and craftsmanship at the Buffalo Maritime Center.
