The Buffalo Maritime Center’s Foundry is mobile!

You may have seen us outside of our foundry before at the Buffalo Maritime Heritage Festival casting aluminum. The foundry has a mobile furnace that we like to take for event casting. Events can include an arts festival, a public fundraiser, on-site educational demonstrations, or a sip and scratch at a public institution. We can bring pre-made scratch blocks or have the public make their own castings with green sand molds.
